DeAnn Tanner Petersen

DeAnn Tanner Petersen was born January 26, 1967 in Alamosa, Colorado a daughter of Douglas Kent and Kathleen Mecham Tanner.

Her brother and sisters are: Thomas, Donna, Amy, Angie, Toni Jo, Tami, Trisha and Tallie.

She was reared and graduated from the Grouse Creek, Utah, school. She also attended various special education schools in Idaho and Utah. Many people from assisted living programs have been a very vital part of her life.

DeAnn worked and had many friends at Cache Industries, Bear River Adult Skill Center, and RISE. She was a dedicated worker who rarely missed a day being with her friends and doing what she liked most.

“Sissy’, was happy at her home writing letters, crocheting, watching her favorite TV programs and listening to her music.

She married Kenny G. Petersen on June 28, 1997, in Yost, Utah. They had no children.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she worked in the nursery and was a visiting teacher. She received her endowments in the Logan Temple.

“Sissy”, died February 20, 2001 and is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
