Mark was born November 13, 1987 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, the son of Richard Alvin and Jane Ellis Kinsey. His brothers and sisters are: Katie Ann, Jennifer Lynn, Justin, Shannon (Shelly) and Kimberly.
Mark was raised in Layton, Utah until the age of eight, when his family moved to a ranch in Grouse Creek, Utah. This is where Mark most loved to be and loved to ride his three-wheeler. He loved to shoot his gun and pal around with all his big brothers.
He taught himself how to operate everything from a lawn mower to a semi-truck. He was so eager to please everyone (most of all his dad), and was so willing to help anyone. He also loved to farm. His favorite hobbies included; scouting, 4-H, basketball, guns, fishing, hunting and many other outdoor activities. He loved to be with friends and family. He enjoyed taking anything mechanical apart and rebuilt it. He also liked to work with wood. Mark was a help to all of his neighbors and those who new him. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends whose life he has touched with his warm heart, his strength and his smile.
Mark Richard Kinsey, 13, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
