Edward Hadfield Frost was born August 12, 1924 in Grouse Creek, Utah a son of Edward Scothern and Clara Hadfield Frost.
His brother and sisters are: Douglas, Dawn and Mary.
Ed attended school in Grouse Creek and graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah.
He served with the 15th Air Force in World War II, stationed in Italy and flew 50 missions as a ball-turret gunner. He received numerous commendations including the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He married Marva Parsons on October 11, 1943 in Ely, Nevada.
His children are: Brent E., Anita, Gary, and Linette.
Edward was an active member of the LDS Church serving as a lifelong Home Teacher, Scoutmaster and in the Young Men’s Presidency.
He was a local building contractor and a member of Local 184 for 53 years.
He was a member of the Brigham City Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years and served as Chief in 1963. He was a member of the Jaycees and the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Posse.
He enjoyed woodworking and traveling, being out of doors and hunting. He loved horses and enjoyed sharing them with his family.
Edward died May 1, 1995 from complications following surgery and is buried in the Brigham City Cemetery.
