Loren and Charlotte Weeks
She married Lorin Roy Weeks on 11 July 1928, in Logan Utah Temple, Logan, Cache, Utah, United States. There first daughter was born July 29, 1929, in Declo, Idaho. They named her Verna. Their second daughter was born on July 17, 1930, in Oakley, Idaho and her name was Belva. Their third child was a son and he was born on December 3, 1933, in Oakley, Idaho. They also had 2 more sons named Dennis and Dell.
Lorin died on November 9, 1944, from a freak accident on his farm. He was unable to start his pickup truck in his potato cellar and was cranking on it. In those days, vehicles had a crank on the front of the vehicle. Charlotte, who does not drive, stepped on the starter on his instructions, not knowing the truck was in gear. When the vehicle started it pinned Loren against the back of the cellar, crushed his chest and cut his jugular vein. He staggered to the rear of the car before falling. He was rushed to the hospital but died the next day. He was only 43 years old.
Glen was the oldest boy when the accident occurred, and being almost 11 years old, he became responsible for helping on the farm and raising his younger siblings.
Charlotte lived in Declo, Idaho, for about 20 years.
She died on 25 May 1992, in Burley, Cassia, Idaho, United States, at the age of 90, and was buried in Declo, Cassia, Idaho, United States.
