Florence Kimber was born in Grouse Creek, Utah on April 9, 1900, a daughter of Charles Kimber Jr. and Persis Josephine Laird.
She had the following brothers and sisters: Edith Chloe, Winfred Charles, Mary Persis, Raymond Hugh, Joseph Edwin, Vera May, Oren LeGrande, Fern, Elsie, and Charles Jr. She also had the following half brothers and sisters: Annie Elizabeth, Charles William, George Edward, Elmer, Ellen, Evan Osborne, Franklin Vaughn, Louisa Caroline, and Sarah Elizabeth.
She was reared in Grouse Creek and while attending school there at age fifteen she became ill with appendicitis and died on July 5, 1915. She is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
