LaRue Hadfield Waite

LaRue Hadfield Waite was born on April 28, 1928 in Grouse Creek, Utah. She was the first daughter to Edwin Shaw and Ina Richins Hadfield. During her younger years the family moved to Lucin, Utah and later to Tremonton where she attended Bear River High School.

She married Eldon P. Waite on November 23, 1951 and they were later divorced. LaRue has four children she loved with all her heart. Her four children are: Kristine, Craig, Kerry, and Lisa.

She also had a special bond with her grandchildren that will forever live on within them. She was generous, always sharing all she had. Always a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, LaRue served as a Cub Scout Leader and a Den Mother. She also devoted many of her years to the government working for the IRS and Hill Air Force Base until she retired at age 65.

LaRue Hadfield Waite, 70, was freed from her tired and worn out mortal body on Tuesday, May 26, 1998. She was at home and her elder daughter was fortunate enough to be at her side. She is buried at Washington Heights Memorial Park in South Ogden.
