Mae Tingey Kimber

Mae Tingey Kimber was born on August 13, 1910 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of James H. and Sarrah Baird Tingey.

Her brothers and sisters are: James Warren Tingey; Melvin Hyrum Tingey; Sarah Jessie Hansen; Elmo Irvin Tingey; Violet Reynolds; Robert Alonzo Tingey; Gennie Bell Perry; Lora Williams; Vera Mariah Nielsen; Mary Lund; Naomi Koford and Daughter Tingey.

She was reared and educated in ……

She married Ernest E. Kimber on June 20, 1935 in Centerville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They were later divorced.

Her children are: Blaine, Darrell, DelRoy, Kathryn and Alana,

Mae was a member of the LDS Church and served in many positions throughout her life. She served a mission in Seattle, Washington from 1980-1981.

She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the Civic Improvement Club and she was active at the senior center.

Mae taught school for over 40 years in Utah at Standrod, Grouse Creek, Lucin and Brigham City.

She died on July 3, 1998 of kidney failure and is buried in the Brigham
City Cemetery.
