Quartus S. Catlin was born at Pioche, Nevada, July 7, 1878, moved to Cassia County, Idaho then to Hardesty, Utah, in 1915, before retiring.

He had the following brothers: Charles and W.C. Catlin.

He was a farmer.

He married Sarah Jane Jones and they had the following children:  Lloyd, Emery, Delroy, Stella, Myrtle, Hazel, Margie, Ida Elsie, and Ora.

Quartus S. Catlin, 77, who had been ill a long time, died at his home in Price, Utah.
