Ernest Evan Kimber was born on March 26, 1910 in Grouse Creek, Utah a son of Evan Osborne and Amy May Warburton Kimber.
His brothers and sisters are: Ivan, Grant,Lorna, Ida and Effie.
He attended school in the old Etna School House and also in Grouse Creek. He married Mae Tingey of Brigham City, Utah on June 11, 1935 and was sealed in theLogan LDS Temple. They were later divorced. His children are: Darrell, Blaine, Delroy, Kathryn and Alana.
In his younger years he sheared sheep through out the west. He contracted stacking hay on ranches in Northwest Nevada for many years. He loved owning and riding good horses and was a excellent horseman.
He married Celeste Hodges Kimball in 1967 and they owned and operated a ranch in Grouse Creek.
He was an Elder in the LDS Church.
He died at his ranch of a heart attack on April 22, 1992 and is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
