John Franklin Morgan

John Morgan was born on October 23, 1870, in Tooele, Utah.

Eventually, the children were orphaned and split up.  John finally got to move to Salt Lake City with his older sister.  He became a sheep shearer and found work in Grouse Creek where he met Annie Jane Richins and were married.

Albert Irvin, Elvin Frank, and Arlo William were the only children born in Grouse Creek to John and Annie. Annie and John eventually left Grouse Creek and homesteaded in Emerson, Idaho, which is now Heyburn, and the rest of the children, including Elmer were born there.
