Ervin Morgan Roberts was born on May 14, 1924 in Grouse Creek, Utah, the son of Hugh and Louisa Caroline Kimber Roberts.
He had the following brothers and sisters: Sarah Elizabeth, Raymond Hugh, Wilda, Byron, Vern, Mary, Marie, Rex Clifford, Joy and Elva Colleen.

He was a veteran of World War II.
Morgan never married and he worked as a ranch hand.

He passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 1978, in Dillon, Montana, of a heart attack and is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
