Maurice Calvin Shaw was born In Grouse Creek, Box Elder County, Utah on October 30, 1899 a son of Edwin M. and Jane Fletcher Shaw.
He was a Veteran of World War I, and was member of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans. He was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad for 30 years, retiring in 1956 as a Passenger Agent.
He was a resident of Oakland, California and died of natural causes in a Salt Lake City, Utah, hospital at age 61 and is buried at Gooding, Idaho.
