Reed Edward Frost was born February 2, 1927 in Ogden, Utah a son of William and Elaine Shaw Frost.

His brothers and sisters are: Wilda, William Max, Clara Darlene, Robert Stanley, Ada Elaine, Myrtle Joyce and James Kent.

He married (1) Cleo Peterson, (2) Deloris Smith, February 2, 1948 in Coalville and they were later divorced.

He had one child, Cora Fay.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the LDS Church. Reed had worked as a laborer and lived for several years in Bakersfield, California.

He was struck by a car and killed in Bakersfield on October 15, 1969. He is buried in the Grouse Creek Cemetery.
