Wesley Hales was born on September 10, 1910 in Etna, Utah a son of Willard F. and Margaret Simpson Hales.
He had two brothers and one sister.
He was raised and educated in the Ogden area. He attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Ogden High School where he was a star basketball player and won the George S. Eccles Gold Metal in tennis.
Wesley married Martha Cottam June 9, 1934 in Ogden, Utah.
He had worked for Del Monte Corp. as a warehouse foreman for 35 years.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
He died November 11, 1989 and is buried in the Ogden City Cemetery.
